BEVELLING DEVICE AT CUTTING PORTION OF PIPE

PURPOSE:To enable bevelling through single chip holder by mounting a chip having arched cutting faces onto a chip holder, then fixing the chip holder to a rotary cutter holder adjustably in radial direction. CONSTITUTION:A chip holder 5 is fixed to a rotary cutter holder 6 adjustably in radial direction through an adjusting bolt 7. A chip 2 is formed with arched cutting faces at four corners, and fixed through a bolt 11 to the chip holder 5 by applying a tightening metal 3 such that the cutting faces contact perpendicularly with the end face of pipe 1. Then the chip holder 5 is adjusted such that the arched cutting face of the chip 2 contacts with the end face of the pipe 1, and the cutter holder 6 is rotated so as to deburr the end face of the pipe 1 in an arch. Consequently, bevelling can be carried out with single chip holder.
