EXAMPLE:A compound shown by formula II. USE:A photochromic sensitized material usable as light adjusting material, optical filter, masking material and actinometer having improved compatibility with high polymer compound, coloring concentration and fastness to colored state. PREPARATION:For example, an indolenine compound (e.g. 2-methyl-3,3-dimethyl- indolenine, etc.) shown by formula III is reacted with an alkylating agent (e.g. p-toluenesulfonic acid methoxyethyl ester, etc.) shown by formula IV and then with a nitroso-hydroxy derivative shown by formula V. |
