COMMUNICATION CONTROL EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To immediately detect a connection fault by providing a 2nd selection means specifying a communication control section connected by a selection means and a comparison means detecting the coincidence between the communication control section specified by the 2nd selection means and the communication control section designated by a route switching means. CONSTITUTION:The CCU number of communication control section (CCU) 2... is inputted to a CCU number selection circuit 7 via a CCU number connection line 11 and when a route switching circuit 5 switches a route to the other CCU, the CCU number of the switched CCU is selected by the CCU number selection circuit 7. The CCU number and the route number generated in the route switching circuit 5 are compared by a comparator 8. Through the result of comparison, whether or not a normal route is set between the CCU 2 and a line connection section 1 is detected. In case of abnormality, it is reported to a host device via a switching/connection mistake report signal line 12. Since the duplicated connection, switching mistake or cable connection mistake are detected in such way, a fault repearching time is reduced.
