Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To extend a font selecting range, by a method wherein, when a predetermined command is inputted to a control part through a connecting port, font data is arithmetically processed according to the procedure of a control storage part and a sequence for forming another font data can be registered. CONSTITUTION:A sequence storage part C5 is provided, which stores a sequence for forming a new font using font data stored in a fond data storage part C2 when a predetermined command is inputted into a control part C4 through a connecting port C1. With the predetermined command inputted from an external equipment EXT, the sequence for forming the new font is stored in the sequence storage part C5. Moreover, with an input of another command, the new font is formed using the font data stored in the font data storage part C2 and the font forming sequence stored in the sequence storage part C5. A printing part C3 performs a printing according to the formed data.
