DEVICE FOR SUPPLYING BAND MATERIAL FROM ROLL

In a device for unwinding a web from a roll (3), having two supporting arms (4, 5 or 44), which are mounted transversely with respect to the web (40) at a distance from one another in a vertically swivellable manner and comprise means (6, 7) for receiving and rotatably holding the roll (3), the swivel bearings (12 or 41) of the supporting arms (4, 5 or 44) are movable between two positions which are mutually offset horizontally relative to the swivel axis. In a preferred embodiment, the supporting arms (4, 5) are fastened in a rotationally fixed manner on a shaft (8) which extends transversely with respect to the web (40) and can be moved along the base transversely with respect to the roll axis, the shaft being able to be rotated by means of a swivel lever (27) fastened thereto. According to another embodiment, the supporting arms (44) are fastened in a vertically swivellable manner to levers (43) which are articulated on lateral stands (42).
