SPRAY TYPE PICKLING TANK HAVING INSIDE COVER

PURPOSE:To enable a quick pickling treatment by using a high-temp. acid liquid by disposing a nozzle header for injecting the acid liquid to face the surface of steel products in a picking tank and providing resin covers having excellent acid resistance so as to face the inside walls of the tank. CONSTITUTION:The nozzle header for injecting the acid liquid is disposed to face the surface of a steel strip 2 to be subjected to the pickling treatment in a body 1 of the pickling tank consisting of the upper and lower walls 3, 4 and the acid liquid is discharged from a discharge channel 9 provided in the inclined bottom. Linings consisting of acid resistant bricks 5 are provided on the inside of the lower wall 4 of the above-mentioned spray tube picking tank and the resin covers 6, 7 having the excellent acid resistance are disposed to the upper and side faces so as to face the inside surface of the upper wall 3 to receive the acid liquid splashing in the tank. The covers 6, 7 are fixed by means of plastic bolts 8, etc., to the upper wall 3 and are disconnected from the lower wall 4 together with the upper wall 3 in the joint part to facilitate inspection and repair. The quick pickling by the high-temp. acid liquid is thereby enabled.
