SOLID FORMULATION ADMINISTERING JIG

PURPOSE:To obtain excellent operability at the time of the administration of a formulation and to aseptically handle the same, by utilizing a rod guide capsule specially prepared so that a small diameter rod can smoothly penetrate in the inner cavity of an injection needle. CONSTITUTION:A small diameter rod 7 pushes out the solid preparation D received in the inner cavity 18 of a rod guide capsule C from the guide capsule C and further pushes out the same to the embedding region of the body B. At this time, a plunger 2 is penetrated in a barrel 3 and, when the leading end 8 of a large diameter rod 6 impinges against the wall of the guide capsule C on the side of a guide hole 16 and stops, the length of the small diameter rod 7 is properly determined with due regard to the length (d) of the straight part of the guide capsule C, that of a nozzle 5, that of the injection needle 4 and that of the insert part of the injection needle 4 in the nozzle 5 and, therefore, it is prevented that the leading end 9 of the small diameter rod 7 largely protrudes to the embedding part in the body and the solid formulation D is made to stay in the injection needle 4 to fail in embedding.
