Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To decrease the unequal length between right and left axles by arranging the constitution in such a way that a front diff. and a diff. between wheels are placed in a differential device of the bevel gear type so as to decrease projection amount toward the car room and input for a center diff. is executed from the transmission side. CONSTITUTION:The driving force output from an engine is transmitted to the input shaft 6 of a transmission 3 through a clutch 5 and then output from an output shaft 9 to a center diff. 7 through a chain 8. Next, the driving force is divided into right and left by a couple of bevel gears 32, 33 supported by the short axis 31 of a casing 28 in the center diff. 7 and another couple of bevel gear 34, 35 engaging with them, and then transmitted to the casing 38 of a front diff. 10 being a diff. between wheels and another bevel gear 11 for driving rear wheels. And, also in the front diff. 10, the driving force is divided into right and left in the same manner, which reaches right and left front wheels, respectively. Meanwhile, the driving force is distributed to the right and left rear wheels by a couple of bevel gears 11, 12 for driving rear wheels.
