DATA COLLECTING AND RECORDING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To remove the time delay of data by directly applying a mark signal to data at the time of generating an external event. CONSTITUTION:An I/O control signal generating circuit 1 generates a control signal INT/EXT for selecting whether a mark signal is to be inputted from the inside or the outside in accordance with an application program to be executed by a CPU 10. A data input circuit 7 samples data based on a sampling signal at a fixed period. A mark signal coupled with the output of a buffer 4 by an OR coupling circuit 5 through an inverter 2 is added to the sampling data by a data originating circuit 8. The data added with the mark signal are stored in a memory 9. Consequently, the CPU 10 can easily grasp the input data at the time of generating an event by checking the value of an additional bit of data read out from the memory 9 and the time delay of interruption processing based upon the CPU can be removed.
