BUDGET CONTROL SYSTEM BY ESTIMATED CHARGING

PURPOSE:To control the application of a center within a budget by using a means which calculates an estimated charging amount based on the upper limit value of the consumption of resources of a job and the means which adds the charging amount of a user accumulated up to a relevant time point with an estimated charging amount and compares these added charging amount with an estimate amount of the user. CONSTITUTION:A 1st estimated charging mechanism 21'' obtains an estimated charging amount based on the upper limit value of the consumption of resources of a job with which a user utilizes a computer center. A 2nd estimate excess checking mechanism 21' calculates the relation (budget amount)>=(charging amount+estimated charging amount) against the estimated charging amount obtained by the means 21''. The the application of the computer center is controlled by said 1st and 2nd mechanisms 21'' and 21' within the range of the upper limit value of the consumption of resources only in case the (charging amount+estimated charging amount) is kept under the budget amount. Thus the sure budget control is possible with the center.
