CONTROL SYSTEM OF ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTER

PURPOSE:To improve the entire throughput of the subject printer by transmitting a printing data end signal from a controller which transfers printing data and subsequently increasing the number of rotations of a motor in response to said signal. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 2 rotates to feed paper slightly, the paper is picked up by a pickup roller 14 to be sent out to a transport path 4. After this, the paper is carried to a sensitive drum 1 along the transport path 4. On the sensitive drum 1, processings such as development occur, and then the paper printed already is discharged to a prearranged location, setting the printer to a next printing action. In this case, when printing data ends and this termination is detected by a controller 3, a printing data end signal is transmitted from the controller 3. After transmission of the signal, processings such as fixing on last printing data are completed, resulting in the high speed rotational drive of the motor 2. Consequently, the paper printed already is discharged at high speed.
