Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To obtain sleeves of high strength and high degree of elongation by piling nonwoven sheets comprising more than one kind of fibers having different melting points and sewing them in stripes at a specified space and then heat-treating and forming them in a tube shape. CONSTITUTION:Polyester fibers of 260 deg.C melting point serving as a main constituent are mixed in a range of 3-50wt% with either one of fibers having a lower melting point than that of the polyester fibers and acting as a binder, for example, polyethylene fiber of 70-130 deg.C melting point, polypropylene of 140-160 deg.C melting point, or polyvinyl chloride of 127-210 deg.C melting point, to form a nonwoven fabric. These nonwoven fabrics 1a, 1b are piled and sewn in stripes at equal spaces with a polyester thread 2 which has resistance to acids and oxidation, and guides for tube formation are inserted between these sewn parts, while melting these binding fibers with which, the fibers of main constituent are fused to form simultaneously a sleeve 3 consisting several continuous pieces of fiber. |
