WRAPPING OF PASTURE BALE AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To enable quick wrapping of a pasture bale with a film by single worker, by attaching a film to both lower ends of an inverted U-shaped arm rotating around a pasture bale rolling on the ground and wrapping the pasture bale with the film. CONSTITUTION:A door 30 is opened by operating a lever for driving a door cylinder near a pasture bale placed on the ground and the pasture bale 20 is introduced into a frame 10. After closing the door 30, a tractor 50 is retreated and the pasture bale 20 is rolled in the direction of the arrow E between guide rolls 24, 32. At the same time, the pasture bale is rolled in the direction of the arrow G by a hydraulic motor 34. An arm 35 is rotated by this action to unwind a film 41 from a film roller 40 and the film is rolled around the pasture bale 20 under tension applied by a stretch roll 37. The pasture bale 20 is wrapped with a strip of the film 41 by the rolling motion of the pasture bale 20.
