AIR CONDITIONER FOR VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To improve the shielding performance against infiltrating water by vertically dividing a blower case into two, forming a ventilating duct with both cases, forming a cover at the lower end of a blower motor, and guiding the cooling air taken in from above the case into the cover via the duct. CONSTITUTION:The air taken in from an air intake 20a on the upper face of a blower room 12 is guided into a cover 6 through a ventilating duct 20 formed with pressure blower cases 2, 3 and cools a blower motor 4 and flows as shown by an arrow. In this case, the rain water or the like infiltrating together with the intake air is accumulated at the lower section of the blower room 12, but since the air intake 20a is provided on the upper face of the blower room 12, the infiltration of the rain water or the like is prevented, and only the cooling air is guided into the cover 6. Accordingly, the motor can be prevented from being damaged by the infiltrating water.
