Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain an ant-controlling preparation with high persistence of ant-killing and -repelling activity by mixing an active ingredient selected from chlorpyrifos, phoxim and pyridaphenthion with a petroleum resin and an inert carrier. CONSTITUTION:At least one selected from chlorpyrifos, phoxim and pyridaphenthion, as an active ingredient, is mixed with a petroleum resin such as petroleum hydrocarbon resin, cyclopentadiene petroleum resin and an inert carrier such as aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent, petroleum fractions to give an ant-controlling preparation with improved duration of the ant-killing component. One hundred parts by weight of the composition are composed of, in case of an oil preparation for treating timbers, 0.5-2.0pts. of the active ingredient, 1.0-20pts. of the petroleum resin and 75-98pts. of the inert carrier, or, in case of an emulsion for treating soil, 10-30pts., 30-50pts. and 20-60pts. respectively.
