STORAGE MEDIUM HOUSING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To perform the drawing in and out of a storage medium with a low motive power and without injuring the bottom plane of the storage medium, by providing a groove which guides the storage medium to a roller on which the storage medium is placed and possible to be rotated freely at the bottom part of a housing case to house the storage medium, and forming tapered parts on the walls on both sides of the groove. CONSTITUTION:Plural rollers 20 arranged at the bottom part of the housing case 18 and held on a shaft 19 rotatably are provided with the grooves 20A to guide the bottom plane of the storage medium 17, and also, tapered parts are formed on the walls 20B on both sides of the grooves. Therefore, by inserting the storage medium 17 into a slot formed with the groove 20A of the roller 20 and the groove 21A on a ceiling, the storage medium 17 is guided by the tapered wall planes 20B on both sides of the groove 20A of the roller 20 first, and is guided into the groove 20A, and afterwards, it is held with the groove 20A of the roller 10, and is pushed in the housing case 18. The roller 20 is rotated by friction generated by the above pushing action. In such a way, it is possible to insert the storage medium 17 into the housing case 18 without increasing the motive power at the time of pushing and without injuring the bottom plane of the storage medium 17.
