Concurrently, a powdery desulfurizing agent (e.g., lime stone or zinc oxide) having a particle diameter of 30mum or less is fed into the gasifier oven 1 by means of air transport using air 15 through a desulfurizing agent supply pipe 2 provided on the top C of the oven. The desulfurizing agent reacts with H2S formed, so that efficient desulfurization is attained. |
