Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition capable of exhibiting excellent drug effects as a remedy for constipation without irritancy to mucosae, skins, etc., by blending bisacodyl with a specific amount of a base, such as polyvinylpyrrolidone. CONSTITUTION:A composition obtained by blending 100pts.wt. bisacodyl; 4,4'-(2- pyridylmethylene)diphenol diacetate with one or two or bases selected from 50-1,000pts.wt. polyvinylpyrrolidone, 50-1,000pts.wt. hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, 100-1,000pts.wt. methacrylic acid-methyl methacrylate copolymer and 50-10,000pts.wt. carboxymethyl ethyl cellulose. Irritancy to mucosae or skins is sufficiently reduced by blending >=50pts.wt. bases.
