Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To reduce the hysteresis loss when the alternating current is used by arranging a die in a heating zone and applying the twisting machining with the die to a superconductive wire while it is passing the heating zone. CONSTITUTION:The twist machining is applied via a twist machining die 5 to a superconductive wire 1 drawn into a housing 4 which is filled with the inactive gas and heated and formed into a heating zone inside it prior to the drawing operation of a superconductive wire 1, then it is extracted from the housing 4 and quickly cooled. If the superconductive wire 1 is heated at a high temperature for a long time, the metal element in the wire rod is diffused and may possibly deteriorate a stabilizing base material, but the superconductive wire 1 passes the housing 4 in a short time aud is quickly cooled immediately, thus the diffusion of the metal element does not progress, and the deterioration of the superconductive characteristic is prevented. The twist machining with a short pitch can be thereby applied, and a superconductive wire with little loss for the alternating current can be obtained. |
