APPARATUS FOR INVESTIGATING LANDING STATE OF CABLE LAID ON BOTTOM OF WATER

PURPOSE:To simply detect the landing of a moving investigation member even under a visual field non-acting state, by providing a detection member for detecting the pressure received when the moving investigation member lands regardless of the revolving position of said member to the outer periphery of the moving investigation member. CONSTITUTION:A large number of detection members 8 for detecting the pressure applied to a moving investigation member 2 are arranged to the outer periphery of the moving investigation member 2 in the short axis direction thereof at a predetermined pitch. At the time of such a state that the pressure from the surface 5 of the sea bottom is applied to the moving investigation member 2 even when the moving investigation member 2 is landing on the surface of the sea bottom, the spring 6 of at least one detection member 8 is compressed in the direction shown by an arrow so that a pin 3 is brought into contact with a contact 7 and the opening and closing state of the pin 3 and the contact 7 is indirectly detected by a means composed of a transmission apparatus for transmitting said state to a ship by an electric signal.
