Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To prevent the engine stop directly after the start by prohibiting the decreasing correction of the fuel at the time of the transient operation for the preset time after the absolute pressure in an intake pipe becomes the preset value or less. CONSTITUTION:An absolute pressure sensor 8 is provided on an intake pipe 2, a control unit 5 detects the transient operation state based on the absolute pressure signal in the intake pipe and corrects the injection quantity of a fuel injection valve 6. When an engine is started and the rotating speed is increased to some degree, if the absolute pressure in the intake pipe becomes the preset value or less, the decreasing correction of the fuel injection quantity is performed after the preset time elapses. Accordingly, the engine stop caused by the leanness of the air-fuel mixture directly after the start can be prevented.
