Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To shorten a drying time and to contract equipment concerned, by a method wherein the paints applied to a work by a plurality of painting processes employing wet-on-wet coating method while respectively cured by about 90% and all of the paints are sufficiently dried and cured in the final process. CONSTITUTION:A bottom coat process, an intermediate coating process and a top coat process are applied to a work such as a car body and the paints applied in the respective processes are dried so as to be respectively cured by about 90% each time. By this drying method, a drying time is shortened to a large extent as compared with such a case that the paints are sufficiently cured each time and a drying apparatus is also made as small as possible to make it possible to reduce the occupying space thereof in a painting line.
