CONNECTION SLEEVE OF OPTICAL FIBER GROUND WIRE

PURPOSE:To eliminate the unreasonableness of operation and facilitate the operation, to provide a tubular aluminum sleeve by pressing uniformly to its overall length and to prevent the aluminum sleeve from bending unreasonably by inserting a two-split flume-shaped sleeve into the tubular aluminum sleeve. CONSTITUTION:The steel sleeve 1 as a connection sleeve consists of a couple of flume-shaped bodies 1a and 1b and when both edges are made to abut on each other, the strand D of an optical fiber ground wire E is clamped with proper force. Further, the internal and external diameters of the center part are both made large, an aluminum collar 3 is connected to the steel sleeve 1 and inserted into its outside, and the internal diameter is made a little bit large. Further, aluminum-made charging pipes 2 are fitted onto both end parts of the steel sleeve 1 and the aluminum sleeve 4 is fitted onto the outer peripher ies of both the steel sleeve 1 and charging pipe 2. An airtight container is pro vided in the external-diameter part of the steel sleeve 1 to protect an optical fiber connection part double.
