PRODUCTION OF PLASMINOGEN

PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain plasminogen useful as a remedy for thrombosis, etc., without inactivation in preservation for a long period, by bringing an aqueous solution containing plasmin into contact with aprotinin.agarose, completely adsorbing and removing the plasmin. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution containing plasmin is brought into contact with aprotinin.agarose to almost completely adsorb and remove the contained plasmin. Thereby the aimed plasminogen containing hardly any plasmin is obtained. Furthermore, e.g. a phosphoric acid buffer solution at pH 7-7.5, is preferably used to adopt a batch method, etc., in carrying out contact treatment.
