TEST SYSTEM FOR REMOTE CONTROL PROCESS INPUT/OUTPUT DEVICE

PURPOSE:To conduct a test without requiring a host data processor by allowing the inside of a remote PIO device to generate optional data for a peripheral equipment at the time of testing a PIO(process input/output) control system. CONSTITUTION:A display/operation terminal equipment is connected to a remote PIO device 3 at the time of execution of test and when a test execution request is given via a display/operation terminal equipment 3, switches 3-5, 3-6 are disconnected from an exchange processing section 3-2 and connected to the position of a test equipment 3-4. The test equipment 3-4 receives data via the display/operation terminal equipment to apply transmission, and the sent data is displayed on the display/operation terminal equipment and abolished. At the time of test of the PIO control system, the PIO control section 3-3 is acted as if the data were received from the host data processor 1 to transfer the data to peripheral equipments 4-1, 4-2...4-n.
