EXTERNAL CONTROL DEVICE FOR VARIABLE DISPLACEMENT COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To improve the accelerating and decelerating performance of a car by forbiding the internal capacity control of a variable displacement compressor except during the normal running of the car, and controlling the capacity of the compressor to the minimum during acceleration and to the maximum during deceleration, respectively. CONSTITUTION:When a car is in a normal running state, a variable displacement compressor 2 driven by an engine 12 for an air conditioning device is controlled in its internal capacity. On the other hand, when the car has been shifted to an accelerating state, an acceleration detecting means 109 detects the accelerating state to cause a control means 110 to forbid the internal capacity control of the compressor 2 and cause a capacity setting mechanism 52 to control variable capacity mechanism 50 for fixedly keeling the capacity of the compressor 2 at the minimum. When the car has been shifted to a decelerating state, a deceleration detecting means 108 detects the decelerating state to forbid the internal capacity control of the compressor 2 as mentioned above and fixedly keep the capacity of the compressor 2 at time maximum oppositely to the above-mentioned way.
