Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To reduce the size and the weight of a floppy disc drive and to make the floppy disc drive compact, by composing the floppy disc drive mainly from thermotropic liquid crystal polyester (liquid crystal polyester) and inorganic filler. CONSTITUTION:Liquid crystal polyester has high strength, high elastic modulus, low molding shrinkage coefficient, low thermal expansion coefficient, thereby it is suitable for manufacture of precise molding But since it has strong orientation in flowing direction, it exhibits considerably different physical properties for different directions. Consequently, when 0.5-70wt.% of inorganic filler is added to the liquid crystal polyester, thermal expansion coefficient thereof can be made same as that of a metal part associated with a lead screw. As a result, safety factor for thermal expansion is not required when the lead screw is designed, thereby precise design can be made with reduced error due to variation of temperature or humidity after manufacture of lead screw.
