SHEET DISCHARGE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To make it possible to set a time so as to precisely perform various motions by stretching a sheet discharge belt in the lower part of a hopper section, by arranging a feed-out roller at the trailing edge of the hopper above the discharge belt, and by arranging a timing cam at the leading edge of the hopper section so that the timing cam is substantially flush with the above- mentioned discharge belt. CONSTITUTION:Sheets M which are stacked one upon another in a squaring section 1 and which have been completed in pasting and press-bonding, are mechanically and intermittently discharged from the lower part of a hopper section 7, the sheets M being separated from a sheet discharge belt 17 in association with the rotation of a timing cam 20. When the sheet 1 and the discharge belt 7 make contact with each other since the convex part of the timing cam 20 is positioned downward, the sheet M is surely discharged by the action of both discharge belt 17 and feed-out roller 9. Accordingly, the sheets M which have been discharged, are spaced at predetermined intervals, and therefore, a counter ejector 3 precisely counts the sheets. Further, it is possible to set a time for feeding out the stacked sheets M with the use of a kicker 26.
