DOOR STRUCTURE FOR AUTOMOBILE

PURPOSE:To prevent tilting of a panel, by providing a side edge portion of a door window panel with a slider extending along a door frame and standing to the inside of a compartment and by providing a door frame with a guide rail for guiding the slider. CONSTITUTION:A door window panel 20 is located on the same surface with the outside surface of a pillar 21 as a car body panel confronting a compartment which forms a door opening and door frame 23 confronting an edge portion 22 of the panel 20 is disposed on the side of the compartment. In the case, a slider 30 extending along the door frame 23 is disposed on a side surface 25 of the side edge portion 24 confronting the compartment. On the other hand, a guide rail 40 for the slider is formed on the outside of the door frame confronting the compartment. The guide rail 40 is formed to a box shape to accommodate respective wall portions 32, 33 of the slider and provided with a wall portion 41 and a flange 42. In addition, a glass run 44 is attached to the interior of the guide rail 40 for holding the slider 30.
