SCRAP PRESS DEVICE

PURPOSE:To diminish a tab shearing part and to reduce a power by performing the opening and closing of a chute discharging port by the knife member motioning its revolution in cooperation with the gate plate linearly motioning. CONSTITUTION:When a trimming chip 19 becomes in specific scrap amt. by being inputted into a chute 1 from a side trimmer 25 of the upper side, a turning knife member 7 and gate plate 8 are simultaneously opened. The trimming chip 19 is dropped into a prepress chamber 3 from a discharging port 26, the grate plate 8 is closed, the knife member 7 is rotated so as to close the discharging port with touching with the circular arcuate part of the gate plate and the trimming chip is converged by the knife member 7 and cut by the cutting blade 20 at the stationary side and that at mobile side. The trimming chip dropped in the prepressing chamber 3 is approached to a 1st press chamber 16 side by the lower end skirt part 22 of a lid guide 6, the lid guide 6 is closed, a lid 4 is closed to press the trimming chip 19 and the prepressing is completed. A scrap block is then discharged by opening a shutter 18 by pressing in the orthogonal direction each other in the 1st press chamber 16 and 2nd press chamber.
