Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To stably transfer a toner image formed on a developing drum, onto recording paper, and to attain the recording of a high picture quality by making the peripheral speed of the developing drum higher than the moving speed of the recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A motor 15 drives the peripheral speed of a developing drum 9 at the speed of VD, and a motor 16 drives the peripheral speed of a transfer roller 12 at the speed of VT. In such case, VD is set so as to be higher VT, therefore, the carrying speed VP of recording paper 14 is controlled by the peripheral speed VT of a transfer roller 12. Toner particles 5c which are developed adhere to the developing drum by the first electric force Fe1. When said particles are carried onto the recording paper as the drum rotated, the mechanical peeling force FT works by the speed difference of the developing drum speed VD and the form carrying speed VP. When such peeling force works, and the particles move from some point of the developing drum, the first electric force is attenuated suddenly, and even if the second electric force Fe2 is set lowly, toner particles 5f are transferred to the recording paper.
