Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the title odorless, highly stereoregular polymer in high yields, by polymerizing an alpha-olefin by using a catalyst obtained by combining a titanium trichloride catalyst component with an organoaluminum compound component and a specified organic peroxide component. CONSTITUTION:A catalyst (A) is obtained by combining titanium trichloride- based compound obtained by treating titanium trichloride obtained by reducing TiCl4 with an organoaluminum compound with TiCl4 with an electron donor and TiCl4 with 0.5-1,000mol, per mol of Ti atoms in component (a), of an organoaluminum compound component of formula I [wherein R is (cyclo)alkyl or aryl, X is Cl and 0
