PERFORMANCE MEASURING INSTRUMENT

PURPOSE:To measure the performance of an information processor without stopping the measurement with a simple constitution by providing two counters and alternately operating them. CONSTITUTION:The busy signal of an attachment connected by a bus is formed by a signal converting part 7 connected to the bus of the information processor 1. This busy signal is ANDed to a clock to have a busy clock signal to the counter. A timer informing pulse is generated for every constant time by a microcomputer 2 to switch the busy clock. Accordingly, while the counter 4A is operated, the counter 4B is stopped and during this stop, the microcomputer 2 reads data from the counter 4B.
