Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can provide a nonpermeable material with an ink fixation layer without impairing the appearance, thereby enabling printing with an oil ink, by mixing a rubbery resin and/or a styrene resin with a silica sol having a specified average particle diameter. CONSTITUTION:A component (A) comprising a rubbery resin (e.g., a carboxylated styrene/butadiene copolymer) and/or a styrene resin (e.g., a styrene/ acrylic ester copolymer) is mixed with a silica sol (B) having an average particle diameter of 3-100mum in an amount sufficient to provide a weight ratio of A to B of 100:15-150, and if necessary, other resin component, thereby giving the title composition wherein at least part of the component B forms a complex with the component A through Si-O-R linkages. This composition is applied to a nonpermeable material to form a layer which can fix an oil ink undergoing oxidative polymerization by oxygen in the air to solidify.
