DEVELOPING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To lighten and miniaturize the titled device and to facilitate a pressure distribution adjustment to the surface of a medium by thinning the diameter of a roller pressing a medium and also providing a cam follower-like roller on the back face of two pieces of rollers and using it as an auxiliary roller. CONSTITUTION:In the pressure developing device of a color recorder using a sheet 21 coated with a microcapsule 22, the diameter of two pieces of rollers 1a, 1b pressing a medium 7 is made smaller than the diameter of the conventional same roller. Also, plural pieces of cam follower-like rollers 2a, 2b are provided on the outside of these pressure rollers 1a, 1b, and pressure is applied through the cam follower-like rollers 2a, 2b. In such a way, the pressing forces is raised, and also, a control can be executed so that the pressure applied to the surface of the medium becomes equal.
