REMOTE POWER SOURCE APPLICATION CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To prevent a malfunction in an execution side system due to mis- resetting from an unspecified opponent, by transmitting the instruction of the application of a power source with a specified value by using the diagnosing code of a reset request packet at the time of resetting. CONSTITUTION:A bit of information to represent the instruction of the application of the power source is delivered from a power source application instructing side system to a power source application executing side system by using a reset packet transmitted in end-to-end in a packet switching network, and attaching a specific code having the meaning to instruct the application of the power source on the diagnosing code of the reset packet. For example, by utilizing the fact that the diagnosing code in an RQ packet is transmitted as it is to an RI packet, the specific code is implied as the instruction of the application of the power source as the diagnosing code. In such a way, it is possible to operate the application of the power source by the power source application executing side system 3 only by the resetting from the power source application instructing side system 1.
