IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To make an interval between an image carrying body and a developing roller and the parallelism constant, and to stabilize the development accuracy by supporting integrally the image carrying body and a developing device, and also, providing a single unit which is freely attachable and detachable. CONSTITUTION:A developing roller 81 is supported by side frames 82a, 82b so that an interval to a photosensitive drum 32 becomes about 2mm and attached to the same frame 70, and also, the developing roller and the photosensitive drum 32 are constituted so as to attached and detached integrally to and from the body together with a unit 31. According to this constitution, an interval between the developing roller 81 and the photosensitive drum 32 and the parallelism are kept constant easily by only managing the accuracy of the frame 70, and also, since said roller and drum are attached and detached integrally together with the unit 31, misalignment is not generated in the positions of both of them, a uniform development is always executed and the deterioration of the picture quality is prevented.
