DEVELOPING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To miniaturize a device and to reduce the weight of the device and also, to improve the operability by using the coating cover of a frame of a developing device as a component for constituting a part of a carrying path. CONSTITUTION:The coating cover 71 using for the cover of a developing device 35 of the upper face of a frame 70 for supporting a photosensitive drum 32 and the developing device 36 in common is formed as a guide so as to constitute a part of a carrying path for carrying sheet paper to a transfer position together with a sheet paper guide, the coating cover 71 is also inclined so that the carrying direction of the sheet paper is inclined inward from the tangential direction of the photosensitive drum 32, a rib 71a is formed on the upper face of the coating cover 71, and the intermediate roller 47b of the lower side is attached. In such a way, a space occupied by exclusive components for constituting the lower side part of a sheet paper guide 46 is omitted, and the device can be miniaturized and the weight of the device is reduced.
