Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To enhance productivity and to improve a response speed, uneven coloring density, etc., without impairing reliability by laminating a titanium oxide layer for a power feed electrode on the inside surface of a counter electrode substrate and further, laminating a titanium layer thereon. CONSTITUTION:A display electrode substrate 24 is produced by forming a transparent electrode layer 25 on the substrate and patterning the layer, then forming an EC material layer 26 on the required part. The counter electrode substrate 21 is constituted by forming the titanium oxide layer 23A and the titanium layer 23B as the power feed electrode to the counter electrode 22 on the substrate and further, forming a corrosion resistant conductive layer 23C at need thereon. The counter electrode 22 is adhered onto the power feed electrode. The ECD of a reflection type is produced by disposing such substrates 21 and 24 to confront each other, installing a porous light reflection layer 28 therebetween, sealing the periphery with a sealing agent 29 and injecting an electrolyte 30 therein, then sealing an injection port 31. |
