CARD DISCHARGE DEVICE

PURPOSE:To reliably feed a large quantity of stacked cards one by one by providing a cards discharge means applying friction forces in the discharge direction and the opposite direction to the lowermost cards. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 12 rotatively drives a friction roller 10 in the direction X1, a lowermost card C1 applied with friction by the friction roller 10 is slid near a sensor 13 while pressing a stopper 7 to the side at its rear end section. At this time, the discharge end section of the card C1 is removed from a position restricting member 5, and the rear end section of the card C1 rides on an inclined plate 22, thus the discharge end section of the card C1 is apart from the second card C2 above, and the slide resistance of the card C1 is reduced. The friction factor of the friction roller 10 is large and the friction resistance between the card C1 and the card C2 is generally small during the slide action, thus only the lowermost card C1 can be slid.
