Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of the flaw on the strip end face by a roller without dropping a belt wrapper by sliding the magnet provided on a magnet frame in the width direction of the strip according to the meandering detection amt. of the strip. CONSTITUTION:The meandering amt. of a strip 3 is detected by an EPC detector 2 to follow up a deflector roll 10 and winding drum 7 while under winding. After shearing the strip 3 the tailend of the strip 3 is separated from the EPC detector 2 and unable to be controlled with a tensile force being eliminated on the strip 3, so it is followed up to the meandering amt. of the strip 3 together with a tailend guide roller 12 by attracting by the marget 5 of the magnet frame 4 actuated precedingly prior to shearing. The generation of the flaw on the strip end face by the tail end guide roller 12 and the winding slippage by the winding drum are thus prevented.
