PURPOSE:To measure the total amount of urine easily by providing a hollow tubular container in a cylindrical container so that the ratio of sectional area between both the containers is constant at any vertical position. CONSTITUTION:In a beaker-like cylindrical container 1, a tubular container 2 is stood at the bottom of the container 1. Then, this cintainer 2 communicates with the container 1 at its lower part through a freely openable stop cock 3, and the area ratio of both the containers at the same position (height) is constant. An outlet provided at the bottom of the tubular container 2 is opened and closed with a stop cock 4. Further, a storage tank 5 is formed under the cylindrical container 1 in one body. First, the cock 3 is opened and the other cock is closed; and urine is poured in the container 1 and after the cock 3 is closed, the urine is discharged from the container 1. This operation is repeated within a definite time to measure the total amount of urine easily.
