Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:Titled composition having excellent contact, adhesion and age resistance, prepared by adding an isocyanate compound to an aqueous dispersion of an ethylene/vinyl ester copolymer having a specified composition. CONSTITUTION:A polyisocyanate compound such as tolylene diisocyanate in a proportion to provide about 0.1-1mol of effective isocyanate groups per mol of hydroxyl groups of polyvinyl alcohol is added to an aqueous dispersion of a resin mixture containing an ethylene-vinylic copolymer consisting of 5-50wt% ethylene, 50-95wt% higher (C5-12) carboxylic acid vinyl ester such as vinyl pivalate and 0-45wt% lower (C2-4) carboxylic acid vinyl ester such as vinyl acetate, and about 1-15wt%, based on the copolymer, polyvinyl alcohol (one having a polymerization degree of about 300-4,200 and a saponification degree of about 70- 100mol% is pereferred).
