TRAFFIC CONTROL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM UTILIZING PACKET SWITCHED NETWORK

PURPOSE:To assign a physical channel to a specific call which has an urgent message by providing a data terminal with a priority control part, a command processing part, and plural channel processing parts connected thereto. CONSTITUTION:A packet procedure control part 1 takes user data out and sends it out to the priority control part 2. The priority control part 2 compares pieces of information on two logic channels with each other, and instructs a priority control part 3 to interrupt temporarily a communication with communication opposite terminals of logic channels which do not require emergency at the time of deciding that some channel needs to receive data preferentially. The temporary interruption command is sent to a corresponding channel processing part through the command processing part 4 of a transmitting terminal and this channel processing part interrupts the transmission of data temporarily according to the interruption command.
