HIGH SPEED TIME DIVISION CHANNEL EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE:To attain exchange processing of a high speed broad band signal by providing a shift register shifting sequentially a signal of an incoming highway subject to n-channel time division multiplex and a selector outputting selectively an output signal of a shift register. CONSTITUTION:A time slot exchange of n-channel time division multiplex signal of an incoming highway is applied and the result is sent to an outgoing highway. The shift register 1 stores the n-channel time division multiplex signal by (2n-1)- channels and uses a selector 2 to select and output the output signal of each stage of the register 1. For example, a 1st channel signal is outputted into the n-th channel and a n-th channel signal is outputted as exchange, then the signal of the n-th channel is outputted from a 1st stage of the register 1 and it is outputted selectively from the selector 2. Moreover, when the signal of the 1st channel is outputted from a (2n-1)-th stage of the register 1, it is outputted from the selector 2 selectively. Thus, the control of the selector 2 is applied by a control circuit 3.
