COLOR FACSIMILE RECEIVER

PURPOSE:To eliminate waste by combining plural reception circuits to one recorder so as to record picture information as many as possible even with the reception from plural sources. CONSTITUTION:In receiving a monochroic picture signal by a reception circuit 1 which is one of two circuit, the signal is printed out directly by a recorder 5 and if it is a color picture signal, the signal is buffer in a memory 4 and then printed out. In receiving the signal by reception circuits 1, 2 simultaneously, when one signal is a monochroic signal, it is printed out directly and the other picture signal is buffered in the memory 4 and then printed out. When the both are color picture signals, the one is converted into a monochroic signal by conversion circuits 3a, 3b and printed out and when the other color picture signal is stored in the memory 4 is case of one input only. If plural string signals come, the signals are converted into the monochroic signal with much idle area and then stored in the memory 4 and when the idle area are less, the data quantity is reduced through the gradation reduction circuit 8 and stored in the memory 4.
