FILM FOR OHP

PURPOSE:To prevent the troubles to occur during running, such as undesired stripes and color shift on a printing face, caused by the friction force applied to the side faces of an OHP film, by a method wherein lubricating layers consisting of a lubricant or a lubricant containing composition are provided on the side faces of the OHP film. CONSTITUTION:Lubricating layers 3 are provided on the side faces of a conventional OHP film. The lubricating layers 3 consist of a lubricant or a lubricant- containing composition. In the lubricating layers 3, a well-known lubricant, for example, a silicone series, such as a silicone oil and a silicone resin, a fluoroplastic, such as a vinylidene fluoride resin, and a wax group, such as a liquid paraffin, can be used, however, not limited to the above materials. In addition, the aforesaid lubricants may be used in a single form, but they may be used as a composition containing a lubricant made of the aforesaid lubricant mixed with a polyester resin etc. for enhancing the adhesion to the OHP film. In the lubricating layers 3, the silicone resin and the fluoroplastic are preferably used because of their high lubricity. A curing type silicone resin is free from coming-off caused by frictional resistance in a sole form, thus being especially perferable for the purpose.
