TAPE RECORDER

PURPOSE:To contrive the miniaturization of the titled device by arranging a magnetic tape protection member in the vicinity of a rotary head drum so as to apply proper guide of a magnetic tape at loading/unloading of a tape cassette and approaching the rotary head drum to the tape cassette position without generating damage. CONSTITUTION:Tape protection members 5-9 guiding a magnetic tape 26 in a direction that the magnetic tape 26 are parted from the mechanism driving component such as the rotary head drum 2 and vertical posts 12, 13 in the vicinity of the rotary head drum 2 of the tape recorder are provided. Thus, the magnetic tape 26 is abutted on the protective members 5-9 to load the tape cassette 1. Thus, even when the rotary head drum 2 is arranged near the position of the tape cassette 1, the loading/unloading of the tape cassette 1 is executed without any hindrance such as damage to the magnetic tape 26 and the set size is miniaturized.
