WIND PRESSURE RESISTANCE ABSORBING DEVICE FOR TRAVELING MEMBER

PURPOSE:To reducer a wind pressure resistance of a traveling body by mounting laminar air making members on the rear portion of a vehicle body, the members inclining toward the center of the vehicle body as they approach to the rear of the vehicle body. CONSTITUTION:A pair of meshing type upper and lower fittings 2 are secured to the opposite sides of the rear of a truck 1. Laminar air making members 3 are attached to the fittings 2 with a prescribed gap between it and a vehicle body. The laminar air making members 3 are attached such that they incline toward the center of the vehicle body as they approach to the rear of the vehicle body. Wind passing along the opposite side surfaces of the vehicle body has its traveling direction changed toward the center of the vehicle body so that the wind blows through toward the rear of the vehicle body without making turbulence.
