Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized disk clamping mechanism by using the magnetic force of a cylindrical magnet so as to align an engagement member engaged with a throughhole at the center of a disk, thereby cancelling the magnetic force when the turntable and the pressing member depresses and clips the disk. CONSTITUTION:Since a 2nd engagement member 13 is supported to the upper end of the cylindrical magnet 11 by the magnetic force of a magnet 11, the 2nd engagement member 13 at its side slope is engaged with the throughhole at the center of the disk 8 to align the disk 8. With the pressing member 9 lifted up by the supporting member, thereafter, the magnetic force is exerted between the magnet 11 and a yoke member 7 and the disk 8 is pressed and sandwiched between the turntable 4 and the pressing member 9 by the magnetic force. In this case, the magnetic force exerted to the 2nd engagement member 13 is cancelled because the yoke member 7 approaches the upper end of the magnet 11. Then the 2nd engagement member 13 is retracted to the inside of the cylindrical magnet 11 and the 1st engagement member 5 is engaged with the throughhole at the center of the disk 8 instead to align the disk 8.
